Coming soon
ChessNotate
on iPhone.
A native iOS port is in TestFlight beta soon. Same drills, same daily, same library — offline-first, with iCloud-style sync when you sign in.
Drop your email, we’ll send one note when TestFlight opens. No spam, no list sharing.
What’s in v1
Square ID, Notation, Colour Quiz
The three rated drills, native and offline. Same generators as the web app, ported to Swift.
Daily challenge + streaks
Fifteen questions, one shot a day. Streak tracking with a monthly freeze if you slip.
Famous-game library
Fifty-one curated master games from Morphy to Carlsen, organised into seven volumes you unlock as you improve.
Spaced repetition
SM-2 schedules your weakest squares and notation patterns, just like the web. Sessions sync across devices when you sign in.
Privacy-respecting
No tracking. No ads. Your progress is local first, with optional Supabase sync if you sign in.
Where we are: the app is built, running on real iPhones, and going through final QA. App icon and screenshots are next, then TestFlight, then App Store review.
The web version isn’t going anywhere. iOS exists for the half of you who do most of your reading on phones — train on the train, on the bus, in the queue.
